Your child's disruptive behavior may be a cry for help with internal emotional stress. Perceived laziness, irresponsibility, lack of motivations, poor grades may be warning signs of several possibilities, including feelings of sadness, simple anxiety or undiagnosed learning disability. Disruptive behavior in the home or school may be due to low self-esteem, emotional distress with peers, social isolation, family loss, sibling rivalry, fears about their safety or simply attempts to adjust to changes in the family.

Conflict with children are commonly found related to:

   Chores or keeping the room clean
   TV, ipod, computer, cell phone, video game usage
   Going to bed or getting up for school
   Clothing choices
   Choice of friends
   Curfew

Workshop Objectives
