Women On The Rocks, will teach basic rock climbing fundamentals to the beginner. Novice climbers will learn about the equipment, belaying, building anchors, rappelling, knots, and body position. Students will learn how to maintain focus during the climbing process. By learning how to focus attention we learn to trust our climbing partner, the equipment, and your new skills.

Reduce fear and anxiety,
improve self-confidence
through outdoor adventure.

Each student will have an opportunity to climb the rock wall using a safety rope setup. In addition, students will descend the rock wall using a rappelling system.

This clinic will be conducted at Allamuchy Mountain State Park in Stanhope, New Jersey (weather permitting).
